The Baltimore Algebra Project
The Baltimore Algebra Project is an entirely youth run non-profit that uses peer-to-peer math education as an organizing tool. Young people in the project have earned $2.5 million over 12 years sharing math knowledge with peers and leading student self-advocacy projects.
Educating for Insurgency synthesizes the teaching of Bob Moses as enacted in the work of the Baltimore Algebra Project. The purpose of the book is to help create crawl space in which young people can fashion their own insurgency.
